We are looking for a “Native English Teacher” for the Foreign
Languages and Cultures Department within the body of a holding
companies' Human Resources Department in Istanbul.

The successful candidate will:

• be a genuine native English speaker
• have a BA degree
• have a teaching qualification (CELTA/DELTA)
• have at least 2 years relevant experience
• have some business work experience
• be able to create materials and develop courses
• ideally have a residence permit
• have strong computer skills
• have familiarity with educational technology and multi-media learning
• possess excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• be creative and have positive attitude

You will be based at the headquarters of a large international holding company with wide ranging business interests.

Some knowledge of business in these major industrial sectors would be beneficial.

Based in the centre of Istanbul you will be teaching business English and ESP to small groups and upper management.

You will also be developing course content and materials for the language training program designed to suit the specific
needs of this company.

Responsibilities

• Preparing all required materials for English language training
• Supporting in house English language training for executives and employees
• Improving employees’ business English language skills for writing and speaking
• To take part in all organizations related to English education
• Creating reports about employees and classes when required
• Handling all the operational processes regarding private and group classses

We are looking for a reliable, self motivated, professional person
who does not need constant supervision.  You need to be very well
organised, be able to work under pressure and be able to meet targets
and deadlines.

You will be an ambitious and conscientious worker who understands
the difference between a job like this and a normal school based teaching job.
